Boat part number 8701574 is a new, off the roll, increment of Astro Ore puff cord welting from Marquis Yachts, part number 8068945 .

Welting, also called puff cord, seat cord or welt piping because of the round edge, is a fabric-covered cord made of upholstery fabric. Welting is sewn with a fabric lip to insert it between fabric pieces with the puff edge remaining visible. It’s often used on the edges of arm rests and seat cushions.

Manufacturer describes this puff cord welting having a piece of 1/4″ puff cord running through it, we measure it to be approximately 3/8″ W x 3/4″ H overall. Manufacturer calls this Astro Ore, we see it as a light gray color.
