  • The Webasto drain pan measures 11.6 inches in depth. Although the blower extends 6.3 inches beyond the pan, it is suspended above it, so the overall footprint depth remains within the limits of the Dometic ECD16
  • The Dometic ECD control panel is not compatible with Webasto units. However, Webasto units include an updated digital display, a display cable, and a wireless remote control to ensure full functionality
  • The Dometic ECD16 features a 6 inch blower adapter, while the Webasto unit features a 5 inch blower adapter, allowing the existing ducting to often be cinched down to fit the smaller size.
  • The Dometic ECD16 has a 5/8 inch condenser, while the Webasto unit offers a more efficient 3/4 inch condenser. To simplify upgrading to Webasto’s superior condenser, two 5/8 inch to 3/4 inch barb-to-barb hose adapters are included.
  • For a smooth upgrade from the 5/8 inch to 3/4 inch condenser, be sure to source a short length of 3/4 inch hose; Consider SIERRA-116-250-0340-1.
